Teacher Training Program

The Mat and Reformer Program combines the BASI Foundation Reformer repertoire and the Mat work teacher training program. Students who complete the Mat and Reformer Program are eligible to pursue the Global Comprehensive Program. This program follows our new Flex format consisting of four days (modules) delivered through a combination of in-studio sessions and pre-recorded lectures. In-studio modules include discussions, exercise analysis, and practice, while theoretical presentations are covered through online lectures available to view at your own pace.

In 2026 our Global Comprehensive Program will be delivered in the **Comprehensive Flex format**. This is an 8 module course where the lectures are done online in your own time, and the repertoire is delivered in the studio over 4 weekends. The first two weekends you will join the Mat and Reformer Flex group. The second two weekends cover the remaining repertoire of the comprehensive course. More than simply a program of study, the BASI Comprehensive Teacher Training Course is an enduring foundation for a career in Pilates, with graduates qualified to teach all levels of students on the full complement of equipment including Mat work.
